Math is hard

While discussing the possibility of taking on prealgebra in 6th grade:
Caroline: It's for kids gifted in math. I'm not really good at math.
Dad: You can get better if you put your mind to it.
Caroline: I really don't want to get better at math.

Caroline: Maureen, you really should stay away from the boys. They like to wrestle...they are rough...it's better to just stay away. Really.

Maureen: Okay, okay

Caroline: And there are only two computers so....you have to hurry.
